Granby - The MacDuffie School has announced its year-end honor roll. The honor roll recognizes students who have achieved noteworthy grades and effort in their course work. The honor roll is determined each semester based on the grades earned in that semester; the year-end honor roll is awarded to those students who made honor roll in both the first and second semesters.
Area students who attained maximum honors, which recognizes students with a 3.67 grade point average and no grade below a B, included: Jane Bannish, of Granville; Sarah Soares, of Longmeadow; Emilee Auclair, of Monson; Kyah Brown, of Springfield; Olivia Ramirez , of Springfield; Maria Buxton, of Sringfield; Thomas Messbauer, of Springfield; Isabel Perez, of Springfield; Joshua St. Pierre, of West Springfield; and Lauren Liderman, of West Springfield.
High honors, recognizing students who attained a 3.33 grade point average and no grade below a B-minus, went to : Dale Messer, of Springfield; Yunxia Hallowell, of Springfield; Aniis Anderson, of Springfield; Varona Maysonet-Ayala, of Springfield; Kimberly Jones, of Springfield; and Maryanne Magnier, of Springfield.
Honors, awarded to students with a 3.0 GPA and no grade below a C-plus, went to: Moheet Ahmad, of East Longmeadow; Timothee Jacques, of Montgomery; Skylar Teixeira, of Palmer; Alexis Chapin, of Springfield; Tawreak Eddington, of Springfield; and Darien Guy, of Springfield.
Students recognized for effort honors, effort grades of 2 and better in all courses, included: Alexis Woloshchuk, of Monson; and Elizabeth Metsch, of Springfield.
