To be eligible for membership consideration in the National Junior Honor Society, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
SPRINGFIELD — M. Marcus Kiley Middle School hosted its first induction ceremony for the National Junior Honor Society on May 2 in the school's auditorium.
The honorees for this new chapter include Abigail Blake, Kiralyse Carrasquillo, Jasmine Chummasorn, David Cintron Roman, Zonae Davey, Tien Do, Shumoya Duffus, Cavonna Eberhart, Darius Hayes, Tri Le, Jalesia Martinez, Kamran Noori, Nhat Nguyen, Christopher Phan, Elizabeth Phan, Kelley Tang, Zariah Thompson, Christopher Velasquez and Jackie Vu.
To be eligible for membership consideration in the National Junior Honor Society, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and have maintained this standard for the past two consecutive marking periods.
Additionally, potential members must meet high standards of leadership and character.
