To do on-stage interview at First Churches of Northampton on Sept. 21 for "Voices from Inside."
On Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m., Michelle Chamuel, the bespectacled runner-âÂÂup from NBC’s 4th season of "The Voice," will talk about her creative process as a musician at First Churches of Northampton.
The on-stage interview with Chamuel by Alex Peterson, of the Northampton-based Media Education Foundation, is a fund-raiser for "Voices from Inside," an area organization that provides writing groups and leadership training for women and adolescents who are incarcerated or who have been incarcerated.
The event will also include readings by the organization's participants who will share how writing has impacted their lives.
Chamuel, who worked at the Woodstar in Northampton, auditioned for the fourth season of the "The Voice," was picked for Team Usher and finished as runner-up to 16-year-old Danielle Bradbery, of Texas.

Single tickets are $15. Tickets between $30 to $50 include Chamuel's soon-to-be-released "All I Want."
