Event scheduled Oct. 5 in Westfield's Stanley Park.
WESTFIELD -- The American Cancer Society's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk is scheduled Oct. 5 at Stanley Park. Volunteers are currently needed for the planning committee.
The event, according to a release, is "a noncompetitive, three-mile walk that unites hundreds of people in the community to raise funds and awareness to fight breast cancer, while offering hope to all people facing the disease."
