Nursing scholarships
NORTHAMPTON -- Cooley Dickinson Hospital's development office invites applications for two scholarships, the Cooley Dickinson School of Nursing Alumni Scholarship and the Louise Finn Nursing Scholarship. Applications are due April 11; scholarships will be awarded in June.
The alumni scholarship is awarded to a senior attending high school in Northampton who is pursuing a career in nursing. Additionally, a child, regardless of age who is pursuing a career in nursing and is the child of a current Cooley Dickinson Health Care employee, is invited to apply for the Louise Finn Nursing Scholarship.
Each applicant must submit a competed application and a 750-word essay. The essay should explain why the applicant wants to pursue nursing as a career, how their goals demonstrate their commitment to health care and the community, why they would like to receive the scholarship(s), and what relationship they have with Cooley Dickinson.
