SPRINGFIELD -- The 5th annual United in Hope, "Celebrating Education as a Community," will be held March 29, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the High School of Commerce, 415 State St.
The event is free to the public, and will feature Patricia Spradley, chief of parent and community engagement for the Springfield Public Schools, as a speaker. New to the event will be the presentation of Inspirers of Hope Awards to an educator, parent, community partner, and student who exemplify service to education and community There will also be youth performances, community resource tables, and light refreshments.
