Fund-raiser April 16 features original design, clothing and wearable art.

On April 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. I am hosting a show, "La Vie En Rose," of my original designs, clothing and wearable art, at Longmeadow High School to benefit Dress for Success Western Massachusetts.
There is no admission fee for the show, named for my favorite Edit Piaf song. However, donations of ladies' interview-appropriate clothing and accessories will be accepted at the event. Monetary contributions are also appreciated. Light refreshments will be served.
Even in today's world, most employers expect interview candidates to dress professionally. But, what happens when a woman cannot afford to purchase business clothes? That's where Dress for Success steps in. Not only does this organization provide professional attire to disadvantaged women, but it offers women the support necessary to thrive in the modern workforce.
Dress for Success assists all women in need -- from the homeless to victims of domestic abuse. With encouragement from the Dress for Success, many of these women not only overcome their circumstances, but they truly prosper.
If you are unable to attend the show, but still wish to contribute to the organization, you can bring all donations to the main office of the high school at 95 Grassy Gutter Road.
