When you think of French fries, what do you see in your mind? Perhaps a plate of golden, greasy offerings, with a side of ketchup. Well, think again, as there are a lot of variations on the market.

I had a some coupons recently for a brand of Veggie Fries, from a Wellesley-based company, that offers four varieties of fries, with vegetables and potatoes combined. They have carrot potato, broccoli potato, chick pea with red pepper potato, and Tuscan bean and herb potato. I tried the broccoli potato and the chick pea with red pepper potato varieties. Both kinds were very delicious! They were crispy and packed with flavor. I think they tasted better than regular fries.

According to the product's website, "Every ingredient is all natural, non-GMO and contains no gluten or wheat."

I definitely give these high fiber, low sodium, vitamin-packed Veggie Fries a 5 out of 5 stars. Plus one more bonus, if you have a picky eater in the family, maybe these will get them to eat their vegetables. I recommend that you give them a try.
