WEST SPRINGFIELD — The Ramapogue Women's Club awarded five $500 educational scholarships to West Springfield residents.
The awards were presented to Min Wang, who will attend the University of Massachusetts; Rachel Messenger, who will attend Albany School of Pharmacy; and Ashley Jackowski, who will attend Westfield State University. All are graduating West Springfiled High School seniors. Awards were also presented to Thomas Romero, a West Springfield High School senior at the Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative. He will attend STCC.
Elaine Stanek, the club's president, also presented a scholarship to Kelsey Barton, a graduating senior at Holyoke Catholic High School, who will attend Boston University this fall.
