WEST SPRINGFIELD — The Exposition Area Scholarship Fund has awarded scholarships to 26 applicants.
Since 1965, the fund has awarded more than $500,000 to applicants with ties to the Exposition Area, or Memorial Avenue, section of the city.
The fund honored graduating high-school seniors, including: Matthew Casey, Nicholas Jimmo, Laura Powers and Hannah Lefebvre, all of West Springfield; Nicholas Fortini and Jordyn Willey, both of Southwick; Tyler Benoit, Gregory Frasco and Madeline Heelon, all of Agawam; Brianna Fiorini, of Westerly, R.I.; Kathleen Kaisla, of Easthampton; Corey Slusars, of Hamden, Conn.; and Caitlin Murphy, of Suffield.
Other recipients included: Amy DellaGuistina and Julie DellaGuistina, both of Windsor Locks; Alexa Frasco, Megen Navone and Amanda Roy, all of Southwick; Joseph Suffriti, Vincenzo Suffriti and Paul Frasco, all of Agawam; Lauren Ouimette, of Westfield; Richard Montuori, of Framingham; Stephanie Palange and Jennifer Powers, both of West Springfield; and Andrew Austin, of Norwich, N.Y.
The scholarships are based on academic achievement, community service and financial need.
