So glad hiatus is over.

"The Walking Dead," which airs Sunday nights at 9 on AMC, is one of my favorite shows. I like watching a group of survivors fight against natural and unnatural threats. The show's graphics and the realistic zombies deserve to be seen.

"The Walking Dead," currently in its fourth season and renewed for another, is one of the best. When Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, and the survivors aren't searching for shelter or food, or casually killing zombies to protect themselves and their loved ones, the show picks up its fairly slow pace.

I am so glad the show's short hiatus ended earlier this month. The break was brutal. I was on edge after the mid-season finale, and read "The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor" to pass time. My head has been filled with so many questions.

What will the show have, now that the Governor is dead? The show cannot solely rely on the massacre of Walkers. Where will the survivors of the illness and the Governor's ambush go, after their abandoned prison is no longer safe? The prison is destroyed, filled with the vile pandemic that kills. The borders are no longer stable, after the weight of hundreds zombies.

I couldn't stand to see Rick so sad without his daughter. I was so glad to learn in Episode 10 that the baby is not dead.

And now, what will the show do without Hershel? He was a father figure. He was the one who healed others with his herbal techniques, and knew what to do when there was trouble sometimes. He lent his words of wisdom to those who needed it most. So who will those who need it turn to now?
